About Image

Dr. Deborah C. EgloffSensory Interaction Designer, Educator, Certified Integral Coach (CIS)

Hello! I'm Deborah, founder of senseable consulting gmbh and creator of the 'Senses in Sync' training programme for neurosensitive leaders and entrepreneurs.

Since the early 2000s, I have been conducting sensory substitution research and training neurodivergent individuals to embrace their unique abilities and to focus on their strengths rather than their limitations. (-> Sensory substitution research involves innovative technologies and techniques that support people with sensory impairments by converting inaccessible sensory data into information that can be processed by another sense.)

My professional path has allowed me to work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, addressing a range of challenges (physical, emotional, mental, professional and personal), and supporting them through life's transitions and transformations. Through this work, I have realised that, although science helps us to understand important aspects of the physical world, it is psychological and spiritual wisdom practices that allow us to explore and express some of the deepest mysteries of being human by tapping into our mental, physical and emotional resources.

My holistic approach, which combines scientific understanding with an exploration of the inner self and meaning-making, is a key characteristic that influences all my professional activities.

Like most of the highly sensitive entrepreneurs and clients I work with, I wasn't aware that I was neurosensitive while growing up. However, the fact remains that 20 per cent of people are born with a sensory processing sensitivity. This means that their nervous system is wired differently to that of someone who is not highly sensitive. This wiring results in heightened sensory sensitivity, emotional responsivity (empathy) and depth of processing, meaning that HSPs tend to become physically and emotionally overstimulated more easily than others.

Drawing on my own experiences of being neurosensitive, I have compiled a comprehensive design of shared meaning, incorporating the coping strategies, strengths and shadows commonly applied by HSPs. Building on this, I developed a coaching practice and the Highly Sensitive Leadership Training Programme, which I deliver at learning institutions and through corporate mandates.

Nothing in life is free - including my coaching

The intensity and pace of counselling will depend on the issue and your goals. For some issues, one or a few sessions may be sufficient. However, a serious exploration of an issue often requires a process that cannot be completed in a single session. We will discuss together what intensity and duration you feel comfortable with. Experience has shown that an average of 3-5 hours is required per topic in short-term coaching. If you would like longer coaching, for example for more complex issues, please feel free to contact me for pricing.

What's right for me?

The most popular questions about WingWave and Integrative Coaching

  • What is WingWave?
Wingwave is a performance and emotional coaching method that quickly and tangibly reduces performance stress and increases creativity, mental fitness and the ability to deal with conflict. The Wingwave coaching method is a revolutionary approach that combines three powerful elements to facilitate personal growth, self-awareness, and emotional restoration.
  • What's happening during a WingWave coaching?
    1. The deliberate induction of REM-like phases during wakefulness, drawing from the principles of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This approach helps individuals integrate and process traumatic memories, mitigating their negative impact. 2. Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP): NLP explores the connection between language, thought patterns, and behavior. In Wingwave coaching, NLP principles are used to reframe limiting beliefs, identify and challenge negative self-talk, and empower clients to adopt more constructive thought patterns. 3. Myostatic Testing (Muscle Testing): This technique, also known as Applied Kinesiology, involves testing muscle strength to identify stress responses and emotional imbalances. In Wingwave coaching, myostatic testing helps identify areas of concern, measure the effectiveness of interventions, and provide biofeedback to clients. By combining these three elements, Wingwave coaching creates a holistic approach that addresses the emotional, cognitive, and physical aspects of personal growth.
  • What is WingWave used for?
With WingWave coaching, stressful issues from the past, whether painful memories or patterns of experience, can be transformed into a new quality of emotional perception. Current disturbances and stressful emotions can be resolved quickly and effectively. This method is therefore ideal for short interventions before assessments, exams, competitions, or challenging conversations. However, it is also highly effective for long-standing fears, such as for example the fear of the dentist, fear of flying or fear of driving.
  • What's special about WingWave?
The Wingwave coaching method provides a unique and powerful framework for individuals to overcome obstacles, tap into their potential, and achieve lasting personal transformation. With Wingwave it is possible to work without content or memory, which is especially useful when the event is too emotionally distressing or inaccessible. It also avoids possible re-traumatization during processing. Bilateral stimulation, as used in Wingwave, provides a direct, immediate method of transforming the emotional state. Wingwave is compatible with various forms of coaching, but especially with increasingly complex trauma experiences, it needs to be embedded in a fundamentally integrative and psychoanalytical concept.
  • Are there cures for traumas?
Rather than 'cures,' emotional trauma conditions typically have effective treatments and management strategies. Many people experience significant improvement or recovery through Wingwave coaching, integrative counseling, lifestyle changes, and other support systems. Treatment success varies by individual and condition, with some achieving complete symptom resolution while others learn to manage ongoing symptoms effectively.
